Heavy Perimeter Deer Fence

Our intermediate-strength high-quality deer fence is known as Heavy Perimeter Deer Fence. This fence wil protect medium to large properties against light to moderate deer pressure. This fence is available in a 7.5 foot height. Less visible than Millennium Deer Fence and stronger than Standard Deer Fence (see below), Heavy Perimeter Deer Fence is well-suited to safeguarding properties of one acre or more, handling heavy snow loads, and dealing with moderate deer contact. Like our other high-quality polypropylene deer fencing, Heavy Perimeter Deer Fence comes with built-in UV protection, will not corrode, and can last up to 15 years. Mesh size 1.76 x 1.96 inches; tested horizontal strength 548 lb/ft, tested vertical strength 686 lb/ft. Size of rolls available: 7.5 ft x 165 ft, with a maximum height and length variation per roll of 5 per cent. Millennium Heavy-Duty Deer Fence

The strongest polypropylene deer fence, Millennium Heavy Duty Deer Fence is the most robust non-metal deer fence available anywhere. Designed to protect homesteads and other large areas against moderate to heavy deer pressure and to substitute for other lesser strengths where deer paths exist or deer pressure is great, Millennium Heavy-Duty Deer Fence comes with UV protection and will last up to 15 years. Metal Hexagrid Deer Fence

Metal hexagrid deer fence is essentially sturdy 20-gauge chicken-wire with a 1-inch mesh that has received a UV-resistant black pvc coating which adds to its life and reduces its visibility. (People installing swimming pools in Connecticut and New York should know that this product also meets the building code requirements for pool fence in those states.)

When topped with several lines of monofilament cable, this is the perfect fence to end all deer penetrations. Less visible, longer lasting, and a great deal stronger than polypropylene deer fence, its lower reaches are invulnerable to woodchucks, rabbits, and deer; it can take repeated deer blows to its mid-section; and, should jumping occur, it can be augmented with a standard accessory that ends the jumping problem (see Deer Fence Installation: Anti-Jumping Insurance and products: item 15-04). The expected life of the metal hex is roughly 30 years, as compared to between 10 and 15 years for polypropylene deer fence. Six-foot metal hex fencing is the primary component of the world's most effective deer fence system. However, we also offer lower heights. One reason is that people who have had polypropylene deer fences for a time may wish to repair damage done by rabbits, woodchucks, and deer to lower portions of the fence by applying "skirts" of metal hexagrid fencing in widths of 2, 3, and 4 feet. Another reason is that people have found the lower heights handy for other jobs such as containing dogs. As with polypropylene deer fencing, the height and length of all metal hexagrid fence rolls can vary by up to 5 per cent.
